概要
Drawing on Lintstock’s work with leading boards internationally, this lecture will explore the latest trends shaping board effectiveness in major countries, including emerging areas of focus and evolving best practice in the review of board performance.
The lecture will draw on data from the Lintstock Index, providing unique insights from the 150+ Board Reviews that Lintstock undertakes internationally each year.
Designed for board members and governance professionals, the session will consider how rigorous Board Reviews can go beyond compliance to strengthen boardroom dynamics, sharpen oversight and decision-making, and ultimately support long-term corporate value creation.
世界各国の主要な取締役会を対象としたLintstockの取り組みを踏まえ、本講演では、主要国において取締役会の実効性を形作っている最新の動向について取り上げます。そこでは注目が高まりつつある分野や、取締役会のパフォーマンス評価において進化を続けるベストプラクティスについて考察します。
講演においては、Lintstock Indexのデータを活用し、Lintstockが毎年世界各地で実施している150件以上のBoard Review（取締役会評価）から得られた、他では得られない独自の知見をご紹介します。
取締役会メンバーおよびコーポレート・ガバナンスの専門家を対象に、厳格なBoard Reviewが単なるコンプライアンス対応にとどまらず、取締役会における議論や相互作用を活性化し、監督機能と意思決定の質を高め、最終的には企業の長期的な価値創造を支えるために、どのような役割を果たせるのかを検討します。（講師より）

Neil Alderton
（ニール・オールダートン）
パートナー Lintstock Ltd
Neil joined Lintstock in 2012 and has extensive experience advising boards internationally. He leads the firm’s larger and more complex mandates and is responsible for the development of the Lintstock Index, the firm’s proprietary analytical tool for benchmarking board performance and identifying trends across its global client base.
Neil holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
2012年にLintstockへ参画。以来、世界各国の取締役会に対するアドバイザリー業務に従事している。現在は大規模かつ複雑な案件を主導するとともに、取締役会のパフォーマンス評価やグローバル顧客基盤におけるトレンド分析を行う同社独自の分析ツール「Lintstock Index」の開発を担当している。
ケンブリッジ大学大学院修士課程（工学）修了。
